Scotland for one week with kids

Hi,  
     We plan to hire a car in Scotland, so we have some flexibility. We propose to see as many of the main “attractions” or areas as we can in a week as my family has not been to Scotland – already understand that this may not be possible so hints on the “must see” (noting we have two kids so the ideal needs to include a mix of activities) would be appreciated.



Our preference would be to minimise changing accommodation in this time so that we don’t have to keep packing up every day. Not sure if that is feasible give the distances and advice on this forum that travel times may be longer than the internet tells us!!



Based upon some research and a map, we have come up with the following options and would greatly appreciate any reality check required. Few question to consider:



Is this feasible in a week? If not, what should be cut out?
